The 2017 Lincoln MKC base engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged Ecoboost 4-cylinder engine. This is rated to deliver about 240 horsepower at 270 lb-ft of torque. This is an awesome output for a compact crossover of its category. Fuel economy ranges at about 23 mpg, combined.
The second optional engine is a 2.3-liter Ecoboost drivetrain that is capable of producing up t0 285 horsepower at 305 lb-ft of torque. Both of these engines will be mated to a standard 6-speed gearbox though there is also an optional 6-speed automatic transmission system. Power will be sent to either standard front wheel drive and All-wheel-Drive( AWD) option There are some rumors indicating that the manufacturer is planning to release a hybrid 1.5-liter turbocharged Ecoboost engine, which will adopt a 9-speed automatic transmission. However, this has not yet been confirmed by the company.
2017 Lincoln MKC -Price and Release Date
Lincoln has not yet announced the official release date and price for 2017 Lincoln MKC. However, consumers are anticipating that it will hit the market at the end of this year or probably in the first quarter of 2017. Price will range at around $34,000 for the base model and $46,000 for higher trim variants.
