Inside, new 2018 Buick Encore comes with new trim and gauges, which are combined with latest tech solutions. Completely five interior trims are available, which make the latest Encore great for people who like to choose interior to fit its lifestyle. First noticeable thing on the 2018 Buick Encore interior is brand new 8-inch color touchscreen display, which is connected to IntelliLink system. Encore now offers support for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but also for the OnStar 4G LTE with on-board WiFi.
2018 Buick Encore Engine
Under the hood there is no much changes. Following the footsteps of its predecessor, 2018 Encore SUV offers a 1.4-liter turbo four-cylinder engine with 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque. For this engine fuel economy ratings are 25/33 mpg (FWD) and 23/30 mpg (AWD). Optional engine is a 1.4-liter turbo with automatic engine stop-start, good for 153 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. This engine is now available on all trims as optional. Its fuel consumption is rated at /34 mpg (FWD) and 26/32 mpg (AWD). 6-speed automatic transmission is in charge for transmitting the power to either front (standard) or all-wheels (optional).
2018 Buick Encore Price and Release Date
As stated at official Buick website, the 2018 Buick Encore will be available for sale this fall. Pricing specs are still not available, but we expect new model to stay pretty much in the same pricing range as before. This means that base MSRP for the 2018 Buick Encore should be around $25,000, while upper trims could go up to $30,000 or slightly more.
